Resistance Studies

Why does the studies for the different resistances to damage types get added to Offense under spellpower??? I wondered why my physical resistance wasnt showing improvement untill I did one for essence and it showed up under spellpower along with the ones for physical. Granted I should of looked a bit more carefully but then again for a soldier class they really not looking at spellpower for offense. A bug? Perhaps...Or just not the right description for them in the studies, Maybe....Who knows
