The MMO industry for the most part, certainly has overlooked the Sci-fi genre. There have obviously been attempts: the original Tabula Rasa was exciting, but the re-designed final release was really lacking. Stargate Online seems, a tad erm, Ho hum. Star Trek may have potential and of course for the real fans, the in progress KOTOR.
I actually enjoyed Anarchy Online and thought the concepts were both unique and well done, but the gaming community nas a whole, never really embraced that product.
Then there is EVE; I never tried it although it seems to be a very popular game.
Wonder what the prospects for Repopulation will be considering the upcoming market of games like I listed which are also in development though?
