Just curious, is there any benefit after having trained this study? i recently finished it on one of my characters and cant see or figure out which/what/where is the benefit for training it?

I think (not really sure) all in all, there is only 1 spider that requires 5 in exotic study sold by an exotic vendor in Asheron? and well it does not seem balanced for amount of time sunk versus what you see/get in return.

Will we see any changes or improvements for this study/companions?

All the purchased pets currently in game are just for show. So doing the study really only allows you to have a bigger variety of non combat pets.
