August Event: An Alganon-wide Scavenger Hunt! 
For our August event we have created a game-wide scavenger hunt! This event is open to all character levels and will run from 1pm PST on Friday, August 12th through 1pm PST Sunday the 14th.
So how does someone participate? Simply find the items listed below and mail them to a GM (details below) or take a screenshot of an object from the screenshot list and send it our way. Each item/screenshot is worth a number of points that can be redeemed for great prizes!!! The item list is the same for both factions (all items are available to everyone), but we have broken up the screenshot list by faction as it's rather tough to get a low level character into the other faction's territory in one piece.
GMs will be on hand to help players where needed, but as a general rule we will not answer questions on the scavenger hunt locations. Aside from one or two exceptions all items/screenshots can be found using the MyAlganon Library via the website or in-game! If you can't find the item in the Library, try searching by another word or check the spelling.
This event is per game account, not per character. Each account can use any characters on that account in their item/screenshot submissions. This means players can submit screenshots from both faction lists (hint, you can get more points!). Rewards will be granted to the account and we will work with each winner to place the various rewards on the desired characters.
The rules for the event (and some helpful tips for submitting your items) are listed at the bottom of this post. Please give them a read before beginning the scavenger hunt as these rules must be met for your submissions to count!

Rewards
The best part - the rewards! Each reward costs a certain number of points that you earn by turning in the scavenger hunt items above. You can spend your points any way you see fit (a few 10 point items, a 20 and a 30, etc).
- 10 Points - One of the following: 250 Tribute, Minor Elixir of Scholars, or Noble's Advance
- 20 Points - One of the following: 500 Tribute, Major Elixir of Scholars, Box of Ability Reset Tokens, Tabard of the Worthy, 5 Tokens of the Dawn
- 30 Points - One of the following: 1000 Tribute, Grand Elixir of Scholars, Box of Item Repair Tokens, Choice of 1 item from any level Epic Random Loot Box on the TMS
- 40 Points - One of the following: 2000 Tribute, Purple Arvak, 5 Tokens of Victory, Super Pack
- 50 Points - One of the following: One PvP Crafting Recipe (any recipe listed here), One BoP Instance Crafting Recipe (any recipe listed here on the Chest Loot tab), Dawning Mount (Storm Arvak or Jax)
** Special Bonus Reward! For anyone who gathers each and every one of the items/screenshots above (all items and every screenshot from both factions) we're also giving a bonus award of a 1 Month Study Boon! 
- The Scavenger Hunt runs from 1pm PST on Friday August 12th to 1pm Sunday the 14th. Any screenshot or item submissions after that will not be counted, so don't wait until the last minute!!!
- You may only submit ONE of each item/screenshot per account. Multiples of the same item or screenshot will not be counted.
- This event is per game account, not per character. Each account can use any characters on that account in their item/screenshot submissions. Submissions from other accounts will not be counted.
- Items - Gathered items must be mailed to a GM with the mail subject "Scavenger Hunt". Mailing them in bulk is much preferred over mailing individual items. Since you cannot send mail to the enemy faction, we have a GM available for each faction on both servers:
- Matma'el: Padreic (Asharr) and Klazgon (Kujix)
- Aeon: Dyno (Asharr) and Tsukikage (Kujix)
- Screenshots - Screenshots can be taken in-game using the Prt Scrn key on your keyboard (set by default, you can change this in Options -> Key Bindings) and is by default saved in Windows to Documents\Alganon\Screenshots. Screenshots must meet the following criteria to count, so please make sure they do!
- Your character name and NPC names MUST be visible over head in the screenshot. This can be enabled in Options -> Interface Options -> Names. Please make sure My Name, Target Name and All NPCs are checked.
- If possible, please rename your screenshots to match what it's being submitted for. For example, a screenshot for the wind bosses could be named North_Wind_Boss.jpg. This is optional but will greatly speed up getting your rewards!
- Screenshots can be submitted through e-mail or here on the forums.
- E-mail: Compress all screenshots into a zip file and send it to support@qol.com with the subject "Scavenger Hunt" and your Alganon Alias or Username. Multiple e-mails are allowed if there are too many screenshots to fit within your e-mail provider's single e-mail size limit.
- Forums: Start a Private Message to Padreic with the title "Scavenger Hunt" and your Alganon Alias or Username. Compress all screenshots into a zip file and attach it to the PM or use the Flash Uploader here on the forums to attach multiple images. There is a max limit of 50mb per post in a PM, so please keep that in mind if you have large screenshots to submit.
- Rewards will begin to be granted on Tuesday, August 16th. We will contact players through e-mail, private message or in-game mail depending on their method of item/screenshot submission. We will work with each player to get the rewards placed on the characters of their choice on the account used for the event.
