Not as warrior

Sorry but I simply cannot play this game as warrior. Half the time enemies run right through me & I have to turn around before I can even hit them. A few times I've been in a position where Where I try to attack but nothing happens. I can only stand there & get beat up or run away.
Yeah, that's fun.
Mage seems to be OK tho. Maybe I;ll try priest.

lol ya i tried warrior first and got it to 15 and just gave up totally on it. working on mage right now seems interesting, have a little mana issues im trying to figure out but other then that not to bad

The trick is to not run completely up to the mob, but stop a bit short and let it continue to you. Otherwise you run right through it everytime. Even stopping a bit short, sometimes the mob will collide...but for the most part it should work out better for you. If it's casting, you shouldn't have any problems at all charging all the way up.

Use a bow to tag the foes. They will come at you to the proper distance. For range foes, they will stop at the cast range. So you will have to walk up a bit into melee range. For melee foes, just stand there and they come right up to you.

Hey, we're talking about a warrior here. The guy who charges in swinging. These tactics you are talking about are ways of working around game flaws. The mobs should not be able to approach closer than the closest melee distance. If they can run through you, something is broken.

It would be nice that if there is no body run thru. It might have something to dowith lags and latency issues on Internet connection as well. But pulling with a bow is part of the tank's job. If your play style is to charge in every time, then you also have the options to use bellowing challenge or taunts. I just hope that I am not the healer in your party.

LEROOOOOOOOOOY, Jenkins.

I think you're confused as to what a tank does, friend. He's not the guy that charges in wildly swinging, at least not in any type of setting that requires more than about two people to handle, in which he wants success. The tank is the keystone of the tactical mindset that keeps all the baddies in the right place, at the right time, focused on the right person. Charging in wildly is the rez-sponge's duty...

sorry you don't get the easybutton for your champ/reaver. Regardless they are very playable. But if you don't like it 3 other classes to choose from.

Even being a heathead that gets payed to stand and take a beating some brain's required :tongue:

That was a flaw? I thought the enemies were just trying to take advantage of glitching over you so you can't attack them. :turned:
