Can you make Orbs of Leadership and Cunning tradable?

Right now, the box is bound to account, and the orbs are bind on pick up. If I am to have somebody make me an item or vice versa, there is not way to send or receive the orbs. Right now, each orb costs 227 tributes and sold in 3 packs. With PVP being a large part of the game, I would like to make some of these epics with orbs for guildies. But if there is no way to get reimbursed for the orbs, the personal cost to buy them might add up quickly.

Anyone else have an opinion on this?

I would agree. Make the orbs tradable if possible. It's really hard to justify spending real money for an ingame item that you're going to give or sell to someone else. If that is the case, what about making tribute another form of currency that's tradable? Otherwise, how do you sell a crafted item with this as an ingredient and not feel like you're spending real money for in game gold from another player when you sell it?

Totally agree. Either make the orbs or tributes tradeable.

Or how about another option..no idea how long it would take, or if it's possible, but what about consigned craft? Purchaser puts the orbs into a crafting window and crafter does the combine...no transfer of tribute or tribute purchased items are needed. And to make it tradable still, for alts or whatnot, maybe flag the crafted item as account bound? Just throwing things out there for discussion.

I've brought this up to our designer and he's going to be thinking about the pros and cons of making the orbs able to be traded. Please continue your discussion and feel free to throw more ideas out there as we always welcome well thought out and discussed suggestions.

Maybe to implement this as an extension to the existing requisition system? The person will add the need mats and a crafting fee to the AH requisition system. Somebody with the right crafting skill can get pay and craft the item.

So the tribute items don't actually get traded to anyone but are available through the system?

Or, to make things simple, just add tribute to one of the forms of payment on the Requisition system. Should be easy to implement, and it would fix the aforementioned issue, I would think.

Has there, by chance, been any discussion on this issue? I'm kind of anxious to know which way the staff is leaning...I'm more than happy to provide folks with crafted PvP items, I'm just not so eager to do so at a cost of tribute to myself.

There has been discussion, but no final decisions have been made at this time. I would imagine that no changes (if they come) will be done until after the expansion comes out though.
