What do buffs do? I accidently triggered the battle stance (I think that is a buff, right?) and now I can't fight anything. What am I supposed to do?

did your action bars go blank when you changed stances? If that is the case just put the abilities that corrispond to your current stance onto the bar. You should also be able to change your stance back to what it was originally.
If those don't work will have to let me know what stance you are in.

Yes, the bars went blank. I tried putting my abilities on the bars, but they flashed red and wouldn't accept any abilities. It's Balance Stance.
did your action bars go blank when you changed stances? If that is the case just put the abilities that corrispond to your current stance onto the bar. You should also be able to change your stance back to what it was originally.

I'm also having another issue that keeps cropping up. I'll be playing and all of a sudden my cursor just disappears. Any ideas?

some abilities on a champ/reaver can only be used in certain stances. So if they turned red then the skill was not active in the stance you choose. If you read the description of the skill, it will tell you if it has a stance requirement or can be used in all stances
IE epicenter can only be used in defensive stance.
power cleave can only be used in balanced and power stances.

The cursor problem is news to me. are you using a wireless mouse?
what is the toons name and what level? will help me figure out what skills you have.
You can try and under interface options try turning off switch main action by stance. See if the bar goes back to normal. Or you can try resetting gui.
What stances do you have in the 3 item bar that auto populates your stances when you learn them?
when you say the skills are red, are you referring to the action bar number or the whole icon? if it is just the action bar number everything is ok just shows you are out of range of a target.
