Just get a Reaver/Champion or a Ranger ...
they recieve like 25% or even more additional Stats at level 50 than
Magus or Cabalist/Mystic, which should give em enough of an advantage.
to be more precise on the stat gain,
Cabalist at level 50 has like 274 base stats (str, endu, agi, int and soul without bonus from items), whereas Reaver at 43 already has 296 and
Ranger possess 298 at level 33 already.
