Can someone tell me what the terms SPD and DPS mean in referring to weapon capability? I'm assuming that a bigger number is better, but until I know what they mean, I'm just guessing.
Someone must know! I've searched the library under weapons and nothing comes up.

Sure... SPD refers to weapon speed. 1.0 means 1 swing per second, 3.0 means 1 swing every 3 seconds. DPS means damage per second.

If you take the damage of a weapon and divide by the speed you get a weapon's DPS.

For example assume the following: 72 - 92 Damage (1.7 spd | 48.24 dps)

To calculate DPS we would take the mean damage of the weapon (72 + 92) / 2 = 82, then we divide by the speed 82 / 1.7 = 48.24 DPS.
