A Reason to Enjoy Friday the 13th - F2P!
Yes, you heard right we don't have friggatriskaidekaphobia. After much thought and planning, Alganon is going Free to Play! This means no purchase is required to pick up the game and continue exploring the world of Alganon.

Gone are the days of trials, come rejoin the Kujix and Asharr as they each fight for supremacy over the war-torn lands of Alganon.

How does this affect you? Well that depends, if you have purchased the client in the past you're going to get access to all the service add-ons without any additional cost! If you never purchased the client before, you are now going to be able to login to the game and play for free. With the F2P client you have the option of adding the additional services via our Tribute Market "micro-transaction" system.






New Features:

• Come experience the newly added Champion and Reaver classes that have been redesigned from the Soldier class.
• Gather your friends and tackle our new high-difficulty instances, including our new Level 50 Test of Faith instances.
• Defeating Test of Faith intance bosses helps you find Tokens of Victory to be traded for epic loot items.
• Customize your equipment using our new Talisman feature to further tailor gear to your needs.
• Can't find the items you need? Put in a request with other players using our new Requisition system.
• New in game quests, crafting recipes, epic gear, and new items and services in our ever expanding Tribute Market.
• New F2P Client, no more time limited trials.
• New Public Test Server (PTS), which will be available at select times during our test cycles. The PTS allows players the ability to experience upcoming features and content before they get migrated into the live game servers.

This list just scratches the surface of what we're releasing in the coming months. So come join in the fun that is Alganon.

Concerning this "communication pack". Is this just a fancy name for a feature that we have always had, or something entirely new that is going to be introduced on Friday?

Existing chat features only. F2P will have a more limited chat out the gate. We'll have more details on the specifics in Friday's patch notes.

Will existing users only have to patch or will we have to download a new client (like with the pts client)?

Just patch. There's no separate client.

I assume that because I bought the client, to play the original beta, that I'll get whats in column one?

Correct. If you'd like me to confirm that for you, PM me with your MyAlganon login name. But it's safe to say that if you bought the game client, you'll get those features.
