Since the most recent patch i have been running into various MOBs that are invisible. Needless to say death has been involved. I've tried logging out, restarting alganon, changing my video settings, etc. They're still there.

As much fun as it is to be constantly on my squishy toes.... they're invisible!

I recall, back shortly after launch last December, that there was an invisible mob issue. They had to push out a hotfix to correct it. Make sure you have submitted a ticket on it.

I've seen this too. I was somewhere out south of Nazrun - I can't remember those weird names - and had this happen a couple times. Hit the tab key, slayed the sneaky beast, but was not able to loot the invisible corpse. There was a glowy spot indicating an unlooted corpse but nothing to click on.

Yup, we discovered the scattered invisible mobs directly after initial the patch. We're looking into it and narrowing down what's causing this behavior.

Until then, I apologize for any ninja enemies that attack you in broad daylight.

I am going to have to agree with this 8 deaths last night due to mobs sneaking up on you invised all my problems where happening around the jagged watch area but with it being all around the area from the crabs on one side to the netdiggers and oracles on the other and the worse was the snake things and waterwitches down the beach some i would assume it is a world wide issue buts its very discouraging to win a tough fight only to die to a mob that you can't see.

We have a fix for this that we will be rolling out this morning. Revenge on the invisible mobs will be sweet and just.

If it's all the same to you i would like to see that they are reduced to 1 hit point for a period of time, in days, equal to the number of deaths said invisible mobs caused. If that number cannot be determined, with any degree of accuracy, then I would suggest a period of 1 week.

this way, justice can be handed out via the very people they were ninja-killing.

Just a thought.

As of last evening between 21:30 and 00:00 ET I was still experiencing invisible mobs. Did this fix not get put in?

I agree with the post above as of last night the ninja invis mobs where still kicking my butt only killed me 3 times instead of 8 like the night before but its still happening. I did bug it in game as well.

Did you guys update Alganon? I have to ask because this was a client issue and nobody mentioned anything like "I installed the new version and I'm still getting killed by invisible monsters".

the client didn't patch.

On your Start Menu, go to Alganon, then AlganonPatcher. That will bring up the familiar launcher you know and love, which will grab the latest patches.

As I mentioned in the patch notes, you will still want to use the Launcher to download patches. The server should be checking for it, but even so, it's a good idea to run the launcher when you know there was a patch.
