Alganon 2.0 is launching next week. The exact date will be announced early in the week when the new website is unveiled.

In the meantime, read this 2.0 preview by Warcry Network. Others are inbound.

Great article and I sincerely hope it draws interest.

However, I did notice something about Warcry that I found to be discouraging. Alganon is not listed in the Game list. (Codex? I think they call it that...)

Why is that?

Review looks pretty good, can't wait!

Also everywhere I've seen they say release date is April 28th including this review, why not just announce it already?

Because not giving a date gives them until the 30th to fix any last minute issues. They always release "on the week of" a certain day to cover their butts (not meaning that as a snide remark).

Yeah, that "week of..." is something I instituted. And yes, it is designed to cover our butts in case we miss a hard date.

Besides, hard dates are so last week. :)

Anyway, I think you guys will be pleased with v2.0. And thats not even the end of it. There's much - MUCH - more to come in the coming weeks post-launch.

I will however be on a cruise may 2nd-may 9th so won't have much time to play til im back :(

There are bugs in ALL software, no matter how long it's been online or on the market. I think they DO have the "bug-zapper" on as I've been extremely impressed at how prompt the devs are at addressing the bugs I write each day. I encourage everyone to write bugs when they see a problem, even when you just have a suggestion. WE need to help make this game better, as the devs may not know there's a problem if we don't tell them.

...and so the journey begins.

As you may have noticed (well unless you were in a coma, in which case, nevermind), the new websites are now online.

The game push starts at 3PM and can take some time to complete and fully propagate. That process also includes building and pushing the patch to users of the pre-existing builds (trial and purchased) etc.

So, I wouldn't camp the server if I were you because if you cough, sneeze or breath heavily, something might break. :whistling:

But as I said before, all things being equal, so you should be playing later tonight EST. If not, well, you'll know about it too.
