According to the description for Wand Specialization, its supposed to increase spell power per rank while using a wand.

Is this bugged? I do not see any change to my spell power with wand on hand nor do i see it while auto-attacking with a wand.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Yep, this is a bugged issue, and one we're looking to have resolved shortly. I just double-checked to be sure.
I'm currently drinking a Pepsi. Doesn't matter when you read this, it's most likely true.

This study is working as intended. The description "Increases your spell power while using a wand" is somewhat misleading, so I've changed it to read "Increases wand damage."

So does that mean the other study's that add Haste and Crit which require Wand Spec 3 and so on are for Wand damage only? I REALLY would like to get this clear so i can focus my study on other areas instead.

Thanks.

That would be correct. Branches of the Arcane and Infusion of Essence only affect wands.

Are there any studies in combat studies that increase magic spell dmg or are they all for increasing physical dmg using those weapons?

There are a few studies in magic that will increase damage, accuracy etc etc for all of the spell types. Ominous Void for example will increase the damage of your wrath spells.

http://exnihilo.somee.com/magic.aspx <-- this is a complete breakdown of the magical studies which may help.

To answer your question; yes the studies in "Combat Studies" also increase spellpower. You will have to determine which in fact do, and if it will benefit you now. Or wait and fill those studies in after you have completed your specific magic tree.

For example: Combat Techniques increases +3 AP and +1 SP per rank.

The same with the weapons studies.

Harmony of Wood while using a staff gives you +1 per rank to crit (ALL).

You will just have to lurk through the studies as you see fit and build as you like, there is no wrong way to go, unless you go pure threat on a healer. But that is where common sense comes into play.
Simple observations can lead to fundamentally wrong conclusions.
