Congratulations to After the Dawn
Congratulations to After the Dawn on competing the events needed to bring a new dawn to Alganon! Their role in this change will forever be remembered in Alganon's history. Thanks to the heroic efforts of Nevena, Lygar, Yourlife, and everyone who aided After the Dawn in this task, the balance between Wrath and Storm has been restored!

With balance restored, the Scholars in Asheran and Xanjuix Karr have begun to seek out ways to destroy the energy fields that block the entrance to many key areas of the world. Very soon, places like the Howling Foothills, the Lethe Caves, and Warfiend Karr will be opened for exploration and conquest!

One of their members will be contacted by the developers to help in the process of naming the powerful gear that drops from these instances!

But there is still more left to do before the Dawning is complete!

The Storms have coalesced. Their energy is transformed into physical form, and Alganon will need to once again call upon its greatest heroes to strike them down. In the coming weeks, the gods will gather the storms so that they can be destroyed once and for all. Be sure to keep an eye on the forums and the news section for information on when these world bosses will enter the world. Once they are defeated, the instances will be opened, and the Dawning will be complete.

Continue questing for the Dawning tokens, as the members of the Dawning will remain in service for only a few more weeks. Once they have returned from service, they will no longer accept dawning tokens, so be sure to buy your Dawning heirlooms before that happens.

The gods smile upon the members of After the Dawn, and all those who participated in making this event a success! Your names will forever be recorded in history!

Thank you very much on behalf of After the Dawn - I know how hard folks were working both in ours and others' guilds, and we're glad we'll all soon be able to enjoy the fruits of those labors!

I'd like to round out the Kudos to Vjek and Jayaha, who together kept all of the organization on what was needed and completed to an amazing extent. Cinae and Den were our other great Alchemists (with Jayaha), Arcane was Lygar's partner in Leatherworking, Zaqari and Sortiarius were our mining/blacksmithing champs (with Vjek), Dizzle and Sorti did tailoring, and we all harvested our hearts out, including Kamaile, Olle, Jalkith, Shakur, Nonpoint, Wileria, Zaboo and others whom I know I'm forgetting because I'm awful with names.

I'm personally grateful for the Dawning event, because After the Dawn is made up of people who've met through playing Kujix on Adrios. Having this event gave us a common goal to bring us together, and we've had such a great time.

FOLLOWUP:

As a further Thank You (and to fulfill a request), I've put together a little story commemorating the completion of the Cloak of the Dawn, The Rising of the Dawn.

I hope you enjoy!

hmm seems the blog can not hold my Alchemy pages of our great Endeavor: So

After the Dawn:

the Alchemy pages of the great event, as told by Jayaha's scribe:

Sunlight shifts as another day moves into eve…

The young scribe chews another betel nut…. Closing his eyes and allowing the juice to flow down his dry throat ….

Soft sighs, "I will be so glad when this has ended, my mistress has been consumed and saddened by this enterprise and I only wish her the happiness she deserves….."

No one understood the magnitude and complexity these events would unfold as each intricate part was revealed.

Alchemy, yes she was the first, so young, she achieved 250/250 herbalism/alchemy at the tender age of 22 or less my mind mmmm chews another betel nut…. Thus her destiny was cast to lead the others in this path of After the Dawns great Endeavour.

Soft, kind heart so easily bruised, she had to herd the guild 'cats' known as alchemists into harvesting the mats and learning the skills to achieve the Glory we all sought!

If it were not for the Guild 'all for all' mind-set her small crew would still be harvesting the precious herbs required to make the required components. She deeply thanks all her guildies, this I know.

The Alganon gods in their infinite wisdom deemed that any herbalist of sufficient mettle could harvest the needed components if they followed the path and persevered. Faced at the onset, knowing that certain things were not even obtainable, her small deep hearted crew moved on and gathered herb after herb, small bundles building up into unfathomable quantities. Blessed they were and the Alganon gods smiled, increasing the bundle sizes to manageable portions and adding the missing materials into the world that was ever evolving.

The scribe shuddered at the memory of seeing his ladies' stricken eyes after she had been called before the council of those that were 'tracking progresses'. His heart went out to his mistress, he so wanted to wipe away her tears after such a meeting. Her heart so gentle, he knew her pains in trying to explain the personalities of those ones who chose herb/alch as professions. Majikal, mystical personalities, not easily pinned down and made to follow schedules…. Hence I am here to follow, calculate and track the progress of what is done, and what yet needs to be done. …… chews another betel nut….

The Guild, our most awesome Guild, rallied forward and enlisted help from all quarters, herbalists (alts) who never imagined they would be such… The massive quantities of mats were mind boggling…

Everyone rallied and harvested 24 x 7 no one felt it was impossible, and soon learned it was very possible and could even be fun. Our Guild is incredible. " 45 of 72 here…. calls out to those collecting…. I have 50 of 72 here, I swear Lunar Mandrake wants to be collected in the dark of night…"

Lunar Mandrake was the last item needed in mass quantities, a 225 herb, most revered and plentiful in a location populated by fierce Pirates, cougars and kits along with chompers and ugly tree abominations…

The wise knew the path and eagerly shared with the initiates… soon many were on the trail of Lunar Mandrake. One such apprentice followed my lady to learn the route; over and over she patiently showed the way. It was late and she had miles to go before she slept, but she had to ensure that the task would continue upon her departure. The plebe was eager to learn and very enthusiastic. At last she was able to ask that they lead and she follow to ensure the knowledge had been successfully transferred. It only took one round and, the initiate was well in control and able to continue on. This key guildie was able to continue on well into the night as my lady left and moved on to other responsibilities. I know my lady's heart went out to this person in deepest gratitude, the joys and sorrows I share as her closest confidant.

As all the harvesting went on, there were also the tasks of making the components of the components of the components and the studies to allow this all to happen in the long of the Grande plan and scheme of things.

The Guild main Alchemists had divided to conquer. Studies were divvied up and all were deep into the books and parchments gleaning all that could be from the tomes available. Sighs… looks back at the records….

Awesome retelling! Maybe if you split it up into two parts it'll fit in a blog? (Remember - take only the first paragraph to put into the first box in the blog post, and the rest of the post in the second box, that's the way it fits.)

(And a big stick shaken at those who hammered on the poor Master Alchemist to go fast-fast-faster, since I didn't hear about the extent of that until recently. :P )

Hey there, Order of Truth! (Since on the forums I can actually say "Hi!" and not "Nevena says something...")

If you ask me, undertaking the race at all was something. Thanks for the congrats!

I wish there was more of the Order around to throw a gratz ATD's way, it seems these days everyone is on vacation...(scratches head)

The few of us around are carrying the flag, just waiting for the opportune moment to bolster the ranks a bit!
