Our (Ceaseless) numbers and play times are crashing in a big way and at this point your guild has the Dawning figured out or its too late to make a difference. So I figure it can't hurt to let the cat out of the bag considering that all that matters now is that someone completes the cloak. With that said, we'll have the cloak completed by the third week of February. Just waiting for the Morning Star Eyelets recipe (Leather Market 5 pre-req). If anyone has it sooner than that, I'd love to know but at this point I just want the material grind to end and some sort of group content to be introduced.

I'm guessing that ATD & OTG are the most likely guilds that could beat us, so we'll see if they are willing to say anything about how far away from Market 5 their primary Leatherworker is.

Also if anyone has any specific questions about the Dawning, please feel free to send me a tell on the Hokk server human side (Antiphates or Phate). I'd be happy to help out if I can.

I'm loving the group effort going on for the Dawning, but I'm pretty sure a 200 person guild is going to beat out our 15 active player guild

We want new content and I can't wait to see what the Dawning has to offer. It will be awesome to see what happens in the next few weeks. Good luck and Godspeed to everyone who is still chugging away at this event!

Is the completion of this event per server?

That is, if someone from Ceaseless completes their quest first, does it advance the event for everyone, on all servers?

Or does it just advance on the server that Ceaseless is on, and the other servers have to advance it themselves?

I've heard both answers, and both answers claim to have come from developers, so I'm curious which one is true?

As long as both races per server need to have it finished. If that was the case, then Hokk is never going to get there. Poor Hokk Talroks pretty much would never get it done.

I can imagine I speak for all when I say that we're happy to go to the post-Dawning content when one guild completes it, period. Please do not make both sides complete it on one server, or one side from each server.

I don't think this is the case.
I saw someone ask the same question in the help channel 2 or 3 days ago and a GM replied saying that once the event is completed on one server it will count for all.

My understanding is that it doesn't matter which server finishes first.  The event will be triggered for both servers once an individual turns in the 3 crystals.  There will be additional credit given to the individual/guild that completes it first, but it doesn't matter which server that happens.

This is true. Tork made it clear weeks ago that Ceaseless was up against OTG and ATD which are not on our same server. This would imply that the Dawning is a GAME WIDE event and not per server.
