As you've probably noticed, we're not throwing around Dawning information as lightly as we do the rest of the game. This is intentional.
The Dawning is one of the few elements that is meant to be a puzzle for the players to figure out, and from what I hear from Tork, you are all doing a great job at it.
I'm excited that there is now a forum section where you can share information, ask questions of each other, and come to conclusions as to how the elements will come together.
The Dawning is meant to be a chance for players to come together - to have a common goal they can work towards even if they wouldn't do so otherwise. It's a great chance to meet other players, to join a guild, or even start your own.
I guarantee that if you are vocal about recruitment for a guild that plans to complete the Dawning, you will either 1) immediately make a bunch of new friends who want to come help, or 2) get an invite to one of the large guilds that have already formed for this purpose.
For anyone new to the game, the Dawning is a great way to meet new friends and become a part of the community. Ask around what secrets players have figured out, ask what skills are needed and take part. If you have one of the crafting recipes needed for the Dawning, you have a server full of people looking to be your friend.
We plan to do many of these World Evolutions, and use them as a way to bring players together, so keep in contact with the friends you make working on the Dawning - you'll want to call them up again when the next evolution rolls around.
And most of all, have fun out there!

I agree with the idea of The Dawning itself being a puzzle; however, it is a bit cruel to force people to guess as to which token rewards are actually useful. Knowing the set bonuses and other information about them before blowing all ones tokens on them would make one feel like he or she was actually being rewarded.
This of course assumes that any of the set bonuses actually work. I still haven't seen evidence on my character sheet that they do.

We are very excited in Old Timers Guild to be involved in this. We are also excited about getting to work with our friends in other guilds to accomplish this as we continue to build our community.
I already know that we have people in other guilds who know a lot more then I do about how to do this, and I am very thankful that we can work together on this.
