In another topic (any review?) I said in reflection some rather harsh things about Alganon. Now that I finally bit the bullet (or feel INTO the pothole
) I can see what the defenders or fanbois are talking about. It IS a rough game. There ARE features misssing. There are PERFORMANCE issues at times and BUGS. However underneath that rough exterior is something interesting underneath. A strong community and a development team willing to fix things and listen to the players. That alone is worthy enough of my financial support. This game has great POTENTIAL. Now if it can only live up to it and eventually deliver a quality product down the road, only time will tell. For now, I'm here along for the bumpy ride.
Welcome to the family, glad to see new faces who recognize the diamond in the rough that is Alganon. :-)

Currently there is a huge need to bring stability to the environment, both client and server. Tracking down and fixing that, or those problems will go a long ways towards keep their current base in place. While I personally am not caught off guard by what I am seeing I am hearing a lot of grumbling from people who bought into the game. I hope this gets fixed before they give up.

I'm more glad however to have you here with us as part of the Alganon vanguard! The pioneers. I often here people talk about "I played Brand X MMO back before it had..." or "Remember the days when..." THESE are those days for Alganon.
I'm happy to be a part of something new and exciting. I'm glad you're along for the ride with us!
