No announcement or post on the changes to the main site?

Just happened to be by accident and reading another thread I noticed that the class/race design and world history have been updated. i think either that or it was changed ages ago and I've been oblivious.

Not sure when this happened but I thought the race/class announement would have been worth pointing out to people. This was very exciting news - for me anyway.

We're saving the announcement for the "really" big stuff - right now, we're still finalizing a number of things and are occasionally posting some minor changes, etc.

We're hoping to start making some sizeable announcements in the next 60 days.

That's mid 30's people, so a little hotter than 86.

To me that is hot. I like my temperatures around the 22

which reduces to

54 + 32

which is

86.

So mid 30's is well above 86.

Why did I show it that way? I'm kinda indoctrinated to show my math work.. earning a math degree will do that to you.

Back on topic to announcements:

How to best do an announcement? What makes me think of this is the number of vistiors on the forums at any one time. The high of 14 simultaneously was almost a year ago.

It shouldn't be that hard to surpass that with the next big announcement.

How bout, instead of just having an update to the page appear, place an update to the main page/forums promising a large update at a certain time/date? If that was the case, I would be counting the hours until it was posted. And I most certainly would be actively posting regarding the new information as soon as I had read it. (Others would too? I hope so!)

I dont know if I looking for the next Wow per say. I m kinda sick of the MMorpg scene, I mean look at the crud they had pushed on us. Vanguard.. come on , this was worst than the Shadowbane release and twice as buggy .. and the developer couldnt find clue even with a certain blue dog.

Meanwhile , people are pushing things like Conan on us. And games just arent as magical as they were in the early 90s. I couldnt wait to get home to play EQ, Lineage , UO , and then later CoH.

I want something more than "Look we are cloning a dead concept and pushing it out to make money." Anyone remember the let down in the last decade of so called next generation things.

I want the magic back , I dont care if I have to go get my Tandy from the storage to play it. I just want it to be fun for more than the free month and I want to look foreward to new and fresh ideas.

Dont repackage my hamburger and tell me its new thing, just fry the meat and put on some mustard, let me enjoy it.

I ve just about every kinda of game that has walked or crawled (or limped) to the finish line, I want something I ve never seen before. I also want a pet, not uber kill everything dragon but like a familiar to follow me around , maybe do tricks..

Just remember , while killing Wow , is akin to killing a certain purple dino , or a yellow rat that shoots lightning.. making the game fun and well done is more important than being able to sing "Ding Dong the Orc is dead"

(also if you do go about killing Wow , I would like to part in the movie but not as a winged monkey)
