You can check the current server status in MyAlganon under the Beta tab.
If you are logged into MyAlganon click this link to check the server status.
Red means the server has crashed.
Pink means the server is resetting.
Green means the server is up.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I checks my Alganon log file, and it looks to me its the authentication servers that aren't working or rather my friend informed me after asking me some info!
Well really wanted to try this game out, but after reading the other forum posts seems this has been happening for days now.

it will redirect you to the proper page if you are currently logged in to MyAlganon.com with a current subscription.
Correct; the only time it'll send you to purchase is if either 1) you're not logged in or 2) you're not a subscriber. If you login and still go there then we need to chat because for osme reason my code thinks you aren't a subscriber even though i know you are.

It works as you describe if you open a tab in Firefox, login to myalganon in that tab, then click on the download link within myalganon, in that tab.
If you are logged in to myalganon on one tab, then open a new tab, open up this thread on the forums, login as your forum account (or not) and click on the link above in this thread, it doesn't work, (for me). YMMV!

Ok guys I am having a hard time logging on and evertime i try I get failed to connect to server. I have added the firewall exception I have added the port exception 3845 to my router and still no to avail! Help please.
As Issy stated, the first thing you should check is that you are running the correct client. We've had a handful of people trying to use the Public Test Server client which is not active right now. If you're running the live client you should see Hokk and Adrios in the Server Status portion of the launcher. If you see any other servers, you're using the wrong client and will need to download the live client from MyAlganon.com on the Download page.
It's also possible that our Authentication Server was down at the time you attempted to connect. I was just informed that it went down for a short period of time over the weekend.
Please let us know if you are still unable to log in to the servers and we can go from there.
