I have tried to search and have not seen this addressed....

When casting and some melee class hits you does your casting just take longer (pushback a la WoW) or is it interrupted (a la Dark Age of Camelot)?

If you can't answer because of an NDA...just save the question away until it lifts :)

BTW...I prefer pushback if anyone is looking for feeback...

i prefer neither, a healer should be so "focused" in what he is doing that a pushback or even worse an interupts should NOT be possible. that actually goes for all casters. they should just take HP loss....

but if it came to a vote i'd say pushback not interrupt unless the skill used on healer / caster says " interrupts all spells of your foe"

It adds some realism I think. You can't expect that if your guy is trying to cast a spell and gets slapped in the face that he would just ignore it. Realistically he would stop what he is doing and say "ouch". If he was really as focused as you say, he would then just loose his place for a second and then move forward with the casting.

Ever play beer pong and while trying to make the game changing shot someone cup checks you? Posted Image

You don't just "ignore" that...

Now that the NDA is lifted...

No, there is no pushback or interrupt when you cast and are attacked. I am sure in the future there may be some kind of silence, stun, etc that may be implemented with deeper Mob AI but right now there is not.

I guess this changed. There is a pretty strong pushback now in place. Multiple mobs will keep you from casting.

Though they have toned pushback down some so it only occurs 2x per mob, but yest multiple mobs will kill you. This is why I only pull one at a time. If more than one come, I'm running for my life!

If that is the case then that should bring about the slight increase in difficulty that was needed. No pushback or interruptions made it too easy. Single pulls are fine in my book.

Is it 2 pushbacks per mob or is it 2 puchbacks per casting of a particular spell? I was under the impression i was per casting but I haven't really played since the incorporation.
Sooo.. Hows that whole "Hope & Change" thing working for you?

2 per cast of any spell, that is of course not an instant cast.
Simple observations can lead to fundamentally wrong conclusions.
