I have some friends who have been playing WoW for years now and have been using the default UI (even though they want more) all becuase they don't how to install a mod. WoW does have one of the easiest UI's to place a custom item into but the keeping them upto date and what if they break scenarios generally leaves them thinking "it's easier just to live with defaults".
I think of this now becuase just last week I set them up with the CurseClient, which allows you to search for addons, install addons and keep them upto date. It is a very handy tool and makes addons available to everyone (as long as they know about the curse client and how to install a program, oh and setup an account
I was thinking with MyAlganon it would be good to have a section where people can place UI mods they make etc. Along with that would be a way at the login screen of being able to search these addons and the game would install them from the site for you. This would include the benefit of keeping the addon upto date from inside Alganon itself.
Just a thought.
