Unarmed?

Depends on your skills vs their skills.Unarmed would be sweet, but I think if your fighting someone with a axe or sword. You will die, with no hands!
Unarmed is frankly required when you have any kind of melee. Bare-knuckle brawling is just too common a fighting type to ignore it or not include it. I'm not talking about asian style martial arts either. There's tons of times where the hero of the story is without a weapon and needs to defend himself, take the classic bar-room brawl as an example.
Unarmed combat does lead to another issue that's just not dealt with in MMOs in general and that's non-leathal damage. There are games that do kind of do this, but being able to specifically state "I'm not trying to kill them, just knock them out" would be a nice choice. You can even do that armed, just a bit more carefully.

Now build this into a fantasy MMORPG... ESPECIALLY one like Crusade, in which the gods influence our characters considerably, and I think that this is a reasonable character class.

Just a basic content question... will there be a class, or specialization within a class, that offers viable unarmed combat? It's hardly a deal-breaker, but it's something I find myself enjoying in a character when it's available.
I am asuming from what I have read into the inteviews that it will be possible to specialize in such forms of combat. Kind of like a specialization or school if you would like magic. Maybe a branch off the warrior class or guardian class.
I could also see this playing into the Deites ideas that they have( assuming that they will have more then Asheroth or Kujix to choose from). Perhaps giving them super human abilites in a fight that they could use when they in a respected area where their detiy is the most powerful.

Unarmed combat is definitely something I'd like to see as a viable primary specialisation, not just as a backup when you get disarmed.
I'm tempted to suggest an assassin type class ala guild wars, but something like an updated Horizons monk might be better
