The Syndicate kicks off the beginning of a regular series of interviews that focus on Alganon, the MMO industry, and guilds themselves.

The focus for this interview is about Alganon. Character selection variations, quest design, mounts, instances, and much more were discussed.

Further guild introductions will be conducted on a regular basis. Watch for them as they are introduced alongside our community spotlight feature!

This sounds great. I couldn't help but notice much of the things dicussed in the article where speculated on the forums, such as the drop tokens and alternate ways of making items. I'm glad to see questing has been thouroughly thought out and that the storylines will be character-specific and branch out. It's nice to see that each class will be able to do any profession. All I'm wondering is exactly how many skills/studies will we be able to have to train? If there are over years worth of study time, there have to be tons of skills. Will each person be able to train all these skills, but it would be best to be specified, or will we be limited to a certain amount and the years of training is just all skill study times pooled?

I don't think studies and skills are a one for one comparison, you'll find that studies will do more than just skills. there would be quite a few areas that are non-skill related that could be studied up. The study interview mentioned the ability to directly study you stats like strength etc. Also crafters can study how to create items, from my interpretation. There is also the chance that creatures could be studied as well as maybe advanced abilities. And I'm sure many other things that we haven't even thought of.

Will each person be able to train all these skills, but it would be best to be specified, or will we be limited to a certain amount and the years of training is just all skill study times pooled?

You will be able to train all of the ones at the start given enough time, although some will be more useful to you than others. QOL has mentioned that more will be added before we even get close to finishing all the study available at release. Also currently the studies are more a generic every class type fo study, future additions can/will/might be more focused towards individual classes. So considering also that there is more study than time available you still have the choice of what to specialise in since there will not be enough time to specialise in everything.

Also good interview.
Adrios - Syndic (Soldier), Kadden (Mage); Hokk - Thrawn (Ranger); Toskala - Nelina (Healer)
Family - Mitthrawnurodo (Talrok)
